G.F.T. is our Youth Group,
which meets every fortnight on Sunday evenings in the Vestries. It is an
opportunity for young people between the ages of 11 and 16 to explore their faith.
This is done through Games,
Fun and Teaching, which explains our name. With the
emphasis being firmly on FUN.
We
meet from 7pm until 8.45pm with drinks and biscuits served at some point during
the evening.
As well as our regular fortnightly meetings we
also take part in other activities. Attending Christian Youth Concerts and
helping with the Bishop’s Stortford Holiday Bible Week are just two examples.
This year we went to the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage and later in the Summer
had a BBQ.
Many of the members of GFT also take an active
part in the life of All Saints. Some are choir members others are Altar
Servers.
