Other Church Activities

There are many exciting activities which you may like to get involved with. This page will be updated throughout the year.

Children's Activities

We run special days during the year for children in the parish. On Good Friday, children from local schools take part in an Activity Afternoon. Learning of the takes place through art and craft and other fun activities, the making of Easter Gardens and even cooking, and the afternoon concludes with a simple act of worship helping us to reflect on the meaning of the events of Holy Week and Easter. In the autumn, Sunday School children gather to explore a different aspect of the Bible and Christian teaching through similar activities.

Bazaar

In mid-November we hold our annual Christmas Bazaar in the church building. It is a great opportunity for our Church family to come together in a common project which, though hard work, is a lot of fun and provides one of several income streams for the church. At the end of the day, the 'workers' sit down to a much enjoyed fish and chip supper!
