All Saints Church of England Primary School and Nursery

All Saints School Website

We aim to provide the highest standard of education in an outstanding caring, Christian community.

All Saints is a small, very friendly school - at the heart of the local community. Our staff, parents and children welcome you to the Parish of Hockerill.

We have eight classes in our school starting from Nursery (ages 3/4) through to Year 6 (ten and eleven years old).

There are excellent facilities all around our school, including the outdoor environment. Classrooms are well proportioned, and each room has its own Interactive Whiteboard. We have a bank of 30 laptops to support the development of children's ICT skills.

We provide a wide range of extra curricular activities including: Science Club, Multi-Sports, French Club, Performing Arts Club, Music tuition for a variety of instruments, Football, Netball and Summer Sports.

Community matters to everyone at All Saints School. Our governors and parents/carers are very committed to the school. Our pupils have their own School Council and Green Council, and we encourage them to look out for each other at playtimes and in the dinning room.

What does it mean to be a Church of England School?

We take part in services at Church on a regular basis, or the Church service is held in school. The children always enjoy seeing Fr Kevin at school when he leads Collective Worship or takes part in lessons, etc.

At All Saints School, our Christian beliefs underpin everything that we do. We enjoy celebrating Christian festivals (Christmas, Easter, Lent) and our acts of Collective Worship are broadly Christian in their nature. We do, of course, teach our children about six 'World Faiths', recognising that an individual makes a personal choice about Faith.
