Choir for Young People

Opportunities to:

  • Learn to read music
  • Train for RSCM medals using the Voice for Life scheme
  • Wear choristers robes (provided)
  • Sing solos
  • Sing in harmony parts
  • Sing at weddings

  • And if you play a musical instrument there just might be chances to play as well!


    How to Join

    Just turn up and give it a go (no obligation). Fridays (in term time) 7.30 to 8.15 pm for half an hour of singing followed by refreshments (usually squash and biscuits). The choir meets in the Vestries at the back of All Saints Church, Stansted Road. (Entrance in lane between Stansted Rd & Manor Rd).

    Entry requirements:

    Willing to have a go

    Able to read most words of hymns
